Report of the Annual Summer Camp for ECC children in May 2016

The Annual Summer Camp for the children of ECC was held from 9th to 14th May 2016 in the Common Lounge. The children were invited to participate in several ‘do-it-yourself’ activities, through which they learnt to make something creative out of waste papers or discarded materials. Aquariums, penguins, earthen vases were made by children themselves, under the able guidance of Joshua Marvin, the Camp Director, assisted by Supriya, Hannah, and Austin. Action songs kept the children happy and active. Stories of missionaries challenged the children to cultivate values that would guide them for their entire life.
At the end of the camp, the children also installed a bird-house in front of Hostel-1, as a sign of concern shown towards our winged friends.
The Director, staff and parents are grateful to Joshua Marvin and his team for their valuable efforts in activating the creative areas of children here in ECC.
